Philosophy

We believe that each child is a unique individual and that all children can learn. Our preschool programs provide inclusive settings that recognize children's varied abilities, interests, needs, and learning styles.

We focus on teaching our children the values of sharing, caring, manners, honest, respect, kindness and love.

We believe in creating an environment that allows for total development of the child (physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, self help, indepence and more). Meaningful play encourages curiosity, discovery and problem solving which allows individual growth and development of a positive self-image.

About Us

Shell's Playroom was established in 1995. We are an in-home daycare & preschool in the Rancho Calaveras community in Valley Springs, CA.

We are located in a beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood. We have a large fenced play yard, take neighborhood walks, enjoy water play activities in the summer, and more!

We are licensed for 14 children. Our license is #053613073. We have 1 fulltime assistant, in addition to owner and director, Michelle. We are all CPR and First Aid Certified.

We offer learning time, zoo-phonics programs, activity time, role play, painting, arts & crafts, naps and more!

We create a space that allows reading and homework time for the elementary school aged children. We also provide a nutritious Breakfast, lunch and snack for the children. Public Transit Transportation to and from school is provided.
